eb8b118db5 IMPALA-10384: Make partition names consistent between BE and FE
In the BE we build partition names with the trailing char '/'. In the FE
we build partition names without a trailing char. We should make this
consistent because this causes some annoying string adjustments in
the FE and can cause hidden bugs.

This patch creates partition names without the trailing '/' both in
the BE and the FE. This follows Hive's behavior that also prints
partition names without the trailing '/'.

Testing:
 * Ran exhaustive tests

7295edcc26 IMPALA-9680: Fixed compressed inserts failing
Modified the insert testfiles to get which database they need to
use for 'CREATE TABLE LIKE' dynamically.

Tests:
Did targeted exhaustive testruns in test_insert.py and
test_mt_dop.py and did a full exhaustive testrun.

c32849a391 IMPALA-8980: Remove functional*.alltypesinsert from EE tests
-Modified the ‘test_insert.py’ so the tests can run parallel.
-Every test will create its own temporary tables for insert testing.
-Swapped out the SETUP tags to Truncate table QUERY statement.
-Becouse the SETUP tag is not used anymore, the correspondig
  code was removed.
-A test query in ‘insert.test’. The test was incorrect so modified
to test for the right behavior.

Testing:
-tests/run-tests.py query_test/test_insert.py
-impala-py.test tests/query_test/test_insert.py
-the same for test_insert_permutation.py and test_load.py

1497002013 Added SHOW TABLE/COLUMN STATS command.
Fixed the following stats-related bugs:
- Per-partition row count was not distributed properly via CatalogService
- HBase column stats were not loaded and distributed properly

Enhancements to test framework:
- Allow regex specification of expected row or column values
- Fixed expected results of some tests because the test framework
did not catch that they were incorrect

b22d1f41a7 Change all "Status Close()" to "void Close()"
Doing it this way makes sure we don't bail early on the Close path
which is rarely the right thing to do. This found a few places where
we were not doing proper cleanup because of this.

ef48f65e76 Add test framework for running Impala query tests via Python
This is the first set of changes required to start getting our functional test
infrastructure moved from JUnit to Python. After investigating a number of
option, I decided to go with a python test executor named py.test
(http://pytest.org/). It is very flexible, open source (MIT licensed), and will
enable us to do some cool things like parallel test execution.

As part of this change, we now use our "test vectors" for query test execution.
This will be very nice because it means if load the "core" dataset you know you
will be able to run the "core" query tests (specified by --exploration_strategy
when running the tests).

You will see that now each combination of table format + query exec options is
treated like an individual test case. this will make it much easier to debug
exactly where something failed.

These new tests can be run using the script at tests/run-tests.sh
