To start using {% data variables.product.prodname_copilot_short %} in {% data variables.product.prodname_codespaces %}, install the [{% data variables.product.prodname_copilot_short %} extension from the {% data variables.product.prodname_vscode_marketplace %}](https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=GitHub.copilot).
