## Who can use {% data variables.copilot.copilot_spaces_short %}?
Anyone with a {% data variables.product.prodname_copilot_short %} license, including {% data variables.copilot.copilot_free_short %}, can create and use {% data variables.copilot.copilot_spaces_short %}.
During the {% data variables.release-phases.public_preview %}, if you're using a {% data variables.copilot.copilot_business_short %} or {% data variables.copilot.copilot_enterprise_short %} plan, the organization or enterprise that provides your plan must have the **Opt in to preview features** setting enabled. Questions you submit in a space count as {% data variables.copilot.copilot_chat_short %} requests.
* If you're a {% data variables.copilot.copilot_free_short %} user, this usage counts toward your monthly chat limit.
* If you use {% data variables.copilot.copilot_spaces_short %} with a premium model, this usage counts toward your premium usage quota. Every question you submit to a premium model counts as one premium request, multiplied by the model's multiplier.
